Retrograde is finally over, or at least for the time being, and we can now get back on track. Throughout this month, we’ve been reflecting and working with you on our Inner Beauty. We thought about what makes us truly shine and love what makes us who we are within. We explored our inner joy and how we can find our joy within all of the noise. Recently, we learned to no longer judge ourselves and why it’s essential to track our menstrual cycles to help with our overall well-being.
We encourage you to go back and review these issues again, especially when you feel like your inner being isn’t in alignment with your outer self.

For this week’s notedd and acknowledged, we’re excited to share Lauren’s recent blog post, “I Did This For Me,” as she details her experience pivoting from Corporate America into entrepreneurship and when she notedd and acknowledged that she needed to make the shift. You can read the full story on the Notedd blog, but here’s a brief excerpt:
Earlier this year, I titled a Notedd newsletter: The G.O.A.T. Is A Title, Not A Job. I wrote this newsletter in honor of the most decorated US gymnast Simone Biles who prioritized herself and her health after deciding not to participate in certain Olympic Games this year. As we know, she returned and won numerous medals, but I shared that, “Quitting, letting go, leaving, or withdrawing are all choices that should never be questioned — no matter who you are.” At the time, I didn’t realize that I would be saying those words to myself.
Nearly two months ago, I took a leap of faith and decided to leave Corporate America. I shared on LinkedIn that I was setting out to fulfill both of my passions in addition to my career interests. I embraced this new title, started my freelance marketing business, and will continue to build and scale Notedd full-time. I may be a multi-hyphenate entrepreneur and joined the great resignation movement, but I don’t want to glamorize this: this was one of the most challenging decisions of my life.
