Hey Notees! We meet again on Friday eve, and the weekend is so close.
As described in last week’s issue, September is Self-Improvement Month: an annual observation to make this month all about you and making positive improvement. There’s no time like the present, considering that we’ve been adapting and changing to this new normal — making both big and small strides.
We’ve been implementing these six practices in our routine, but as we’ve notedd, it takes on average 66 days for a habit to become automatic. This said it’ll be an ongoing challenge, but we encourage to join us. Whether it’s just one, half or all six, let’s all take an opportunity to improve ourselves.
This week was filled with additional great content from two amazing writers. In her article, writer Demietra Williams shares best practices and steps you can take to develop a better relationship with money in her article, "Three Easy Steps to Create a Happier, Healthier Relationship With Money."
Writer Jasmine Kent shares her perspective and the measures we can take for the best interests in our local communities when it comes to the upcoming election in her article,"Iyanla Can't Fix Our Country: Why Hollywood Needs to Revisit its Strategy to Encourage Voting."
If you haven’t checked them out, we’ve got snippets for you below and check out the full articles on Notedd.com.
Lastly, check out last week’s issue and #StayNotedd!
Three Easy Steps to Create A Happier, Healthier Relationship

These connections might include those with friends, family, colleagues, clients, teachers or neighbors. Some of these relationships may add joy to your life, while others may be more tense.
Have you considered your relationship with money?
Do you think of it as a resource that helps you achieve your goals? Or, do you find that it prevents you from moving forward? Does money show up when you need it? Or, is it a source of disappointment?…

Why Hollywood Needs to Revisit its Strategy to Encourage Voting
By Jasmine Kent, Brand Communications and Media Strategist and Founder of LoveJas Media
America is in complete chaos and entertainers are picking up where government officials should be taking the lead. Day by day, as we get closer to the election, I’m asking myself where the hell is Clarence Avant, the Black Godfather that influenced everything at the intersection of American politics, entertainment, and civil rights. What worries me is that Hollywood is calling bullshit on the Presidential election and trying to convince us that we should too without clear direction on what’s next.
Popular entertainment defines culture and social norms of the time…
