Happy October, #NoteddTribe! October brings awareness to multiple holidays and shines a light on numerous causes, organizations, and heritages. We’ll be celebrating and raising awareness to as many as we can, like today, which is National Inner Beauty Day.
A day that not only raises awareness and supports victims of human trafficking, but it was also created to celebrate the core qualities of the human spirit that we often overlook and embrace our stories without filtering it through someone else’s definition of beauty.
How do we continue to honor the day? You can support organizations such as Saving Innocence and the Coalition Against Trafficking Women.
You can also start today (or this weekend or next week) by honoring what makes you truly shine and loving on what makes you within you. You can take a mental inventory of those inner qualities, or if you’re like us who enjoys writing it down, jot down those inner beauty traits and qualities in your next journal entry.
