Calling all of our members in media
We would love to hear from you for an important initiative!
Are you a journalist or reporter? Do you have a podcast? Are you a writer? If you are a woman of color working in media, we would love to hear from you!
Today, we’re releasing a survey to gather your perspective and experience as a journalist, reporter, writer, podcaster, etc., for either yourself as a freelancer or as a full-time/part-time employee at a publication or media outlet.
With the goal of uplifting and sharing stories written for and by Black women, we are surveying people who identify as Black women to understand their unique experience working in an industry where 7% of newsroom employees are Black.
Would you mind taking our survey and sharing more about your work, what inspires you, and how you plan to move the needle forward as a Black woman in media?
We’ll be using this data to inform an exciting initiative that we will launch in the new year. While the survey does ask for your contact information, please know that we will not use your personal identifiable information unless you would like to be identified in our initiative next year. Otherwise, any contact information will be used for internal purposes.
