Hey, #NoteddTribe! Who else is celebrating National Lazy Day (August 10) longer than expected? Well, let’s blame it on the holiday that we were unable to get last week’s issue out, but we are glad to be back with you this week!
During our brief hiatus, we realized how we fail to share a lot of the work behind the scenes and even the opportunities where we could really use your help. Thus, we want to give you more insight into the things we’re working on and see if you are interested in helping us out.
More relevant and relatable content: We’re working on a writer’s fund to pay women of color writers who are interested in contributing to our newsletter, blog, or soon-to-be community platform. This fund will also support editors interested in helping to edit our content (because we know that is not always our strongest trait).
More community and conversations: Don’t worry; we’re still working out the kinks to our community platform. As notedd in previous issues, we’re excited to offer a premium outlet for us all to reflect, discuss, and share perspectives on a multitude of issues that matter to us in a dedicated communal space.
More journals: Our journal sales have been through the roof! Therefore, we’d like to get your thoughts to help contribute to the making and designing of the following line of journals. Maybe we’ll include some journal prompts and cute pens to help get the writing party started? What do you think?
More rewards: Our biggest advocates are YOU. Thus, we want to reward you for spreading the word about us and encouraging your communities and networks to join the #NoteddTribe. Stay tuned for Notedd swag and items from Black-owned businesses that we’ll start sending as you continue to refer us to others. Do you have any thoughts on what type of rewards you’d like?
If you’re interested in any of the above opportunities, click the link below, and we’ll follow up with next steps!
Alright back to business! Check out what we notedd for you this week, along with our honorable mentions in honor of Black Business Month and our monthly focus on building equity and wealth.
